INVITATION TO BID

City of White House, TN

 

Sealed Bids for the project entitled Field 8 Fencing Project Bid #25-1120P will be received by the City of White House at 2 p.m. local time, December 3, 2024, in the Billy S. Hobbs Municipal Center, 105D College Street, White House, TN 37188, and then publicly opened and read aloud.

 

Bid Documents and Specifications are online at www.whitehousetn.gov/purchasing or may be obtained from the Purchasing Coordinator’s office in City Hall. 

 

Mandatory Pre-bid meeting on Tuesday November 19, 2024 at 2:00 p.m at Field 8 White House Municipal Park, 420 Hwy 76, White House, TN.

 

All bids must be made out on the Bid Form furnished with the Bid Documents. 

 

All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Chapter 135 of the Public Acts of 1945 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and all subsequent amendments.  Important: The Bidder’s name, license number, expiration date, license classification and limit shall appear on the sealed envelope containing the Bid; otherwise, the Bid shall not be opened.

 

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bids received, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid or bids which, in its opinion, may be in its best interest.

Board of Mayor and Aldermen
Thursday, November 21st, 2024
7:00 PM

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet in regular session on Thursday, November 21st, 2024. The meeting will take place at 7:00pm inside the Board Room at the Billy S. Hobbs Community Center located at 105-D College Street.

Per TCA Title 8, Chapter 44 regarding public meetings, a Public Comment section is on the meeting’s agenda. To speak during the Public Comment period, a sign-up sheet will be placed in the meeting location near the printed agendas and will be taken up just before the start of the meeting.

A Public Hearings section is on the meeting’s agenda when there are second or special readings of Resolutions or Ordinances. The following Resolutions and Ordinances are on this month’s agenda:

·       Resolution 24-14: A resolution to annex certain territories and incorporate the same within the corporate boundaries of the City of White House.

 

·       Ordinance 24-16: An ordinance to amend the Zoning Map from Robertson County R-20, Low Density Residential, to C-4, Office Professional, at CCS Private Drive and Sage Road.

 

·       October 24-17: An ordinance to amend the Zoning Map from Sumner County Agricultural, AG, to R-20, Low Density Residential, at 268 Marlin Rd.

 

·       Ordinance 24-18: An ordinance to delete the Municipal Code Title 4 Municipal Personnel Chapter 3 Occupational Safety and Health Program in its entirety.

 

The following Resolutions and Ordinances were passed during the October 17th, 2024, Board meeting:

 

·       Resolution 24-11: A resolution to establish an updated Occupational Safety and Health Program Plan, devise rules and regulations, and to provide for a Safety Director and the implementation of such program plan.

 

·       Resolution 24-12: A resolution to authorize the City of White House to complete an application for license to install and operate law enforcement automated license plate recognition (ALPR) cameras on state highway rights-of-way.

 

·       Ordinance 24-11: An ordinance establishing the tax rate exceeding the certified property tax rate for 2024 as calculated by the State Board of Equalization for the Tax Year 2024.

 

·       Ordinance 24-15: An ordinance amending the Municipal Code Title 18, Chapter 7 Stormwater Management, Section 18-702.

The Stormwater Advisory Board of the City of White House will meet on Monday, December 9th, 2024. The meeting will take place at 4:00 pm in the Board Room of the Billy S. Hobbs Community Center located at 105-D College Street.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet on Monday, December 9th, 2024, for a study session to discuss a hydraulic analysis study for Covington Bend and Winchester Court. The meeting will take place at 5:30 pm at the Billy S. Hobbs Community Center located at 105-D College Street.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of White House, Tennessee, will meet on Thursday, December 19, 2024, for a study session to review the annual audit financial reports for FYE 2024. The meeting will take place at 6:00 pm at the Billy S. Hobbs Community Center located at 105-D College Street.
