Mission

The City of White House main goal is to provide excellent service in keeping our city clean. The City of White House Sanitation Division serves both households and businesses with garbage and brush pickup. The division also provides two roll off dumpsters for city use and recycling services that can easily be dropped off at the Public Services Complex.

Curbside Service

The City will pick up brush, bagged leaves, and grass trimmings that are placed in brown paper bags placed near the curb. Brush limbs should be stacked with the butt ends together. These items are picked up on a regular route system. You may call  615-672-3654 or refer to the map and area pick-up routes listed in the Brush Collection tab on the side menu to see when the brush trucks will be in your neighborhood.

Leaf Pick Up

The City of White House Sanitation Division wishes to advise citizens that leaves are to be placed in brown paper bags for pick up by the Division. No leaves are to be placed in the gutter, over a storm drain or in the street. Please separate your bagged leaves and brush in your yard near the curb or street. We wish to thank everyone for your assistance in keeping the storm drains and gutters clear. Clear gutters help prevent flooding of your property and your neighbor’s property during heavy rains.

Bulk Item Request

Bulk item collection is offered first come, first served and at the discretion of the Division of Sanitation. Both electronic and hazardous waste are not accepted with this service. If you have additional questions, please visit our division online or call our department office at (615) 672-3654.
