The Patrol Division is the most obvious component of the White House Police Department comprised of uniformed police officers. The Patrol Division operates on a twenty-four hours basis, responding to calls for service that are both emergency and routine.  The Patrol Division is divide into four shift that operate on a twelve hour schedule.
