The Public Works team provides safe and efficient transportation in the city by maintaining roadway maintenance (pot hole patching, tree trimming, ditch maintenance), bridges, traffic signals, roadway lighting, and street signs.

Our goal is to provide efficient service to all residents and businesses. The Public Works Division consists of two divisions, Public Works and Sanitation.

The mission of the Public Works Division is to preserve the City of White House resources by providing efficient, cost-effective services which ensure the safety, health, and welfare of our customers and improve quality of life.

THE VISION

The vision of the Public Works Division is as the leader in developing and maintaining county roads, bridges, vehicles, and equipment. The Public Works Division strives to ensure environmental compliance, good working relationships, and high standards of professional management for the City of White House. The management and staff of the division act as facilitators in achieving a balance between diverse priorities and finite resources by providing the public and other County offices thorough analysis, expert advice, prompt and reliable services, and open, honest communications related to the responsible allocation and utilization of personnel and resources.
