Meetings of the Industrial Revenue Board are held on an as-needed basis. This Board is composed of seven members serving six-year terms. It is also registered as a public non-profit corporation with the State of Tennessee. According to state law, industrial development boards have the authority to finance, acquire, own, lease, or dispose of properties in order to promote and encourage economic development.
