Stormwater Utility Fee

The City of White House recognizes the importance of a comprehensive strategic planning for capital improvement as a vital part of the City's mission to preserve and enhance the quality of life for our citizens. Utility fees were established for capacity enhancement projects that expand existing facilities and enhance water quality and natural resources. Fees collected by the Stormwater Utility go toward the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of municipal separate storm sewer system.

Stormwater Utility Fees are assigned to all developed residential and non-residential properties and are determined as a function of equivalent residential units (ERU)  based on the runoff generated from impervious surfaces.  The City of White House conducted a statistical analysis to establish an ERU. The value of one ERU is set at 3,936 square feet and incurs a charge of $8.99 per month for residential, commercial and industrial properties.
