The White House Police Department participates with the Sumner County Emergency Response Team (ERT) which is comprised of highly skilled officers from nearly every law enforcement agency within Sumner County.  The purpose of this team is to respond to and deescalate high-risk incidents such as barricaded suspects and hostage situations.  The team is also responsible for serving high-risk search warrants and arrest warrants.  

The Sumner County Emergency Response Team employs the very latest technology, less-lethal devices, and the most efficient tactics with the goal of saving lives by safely deescalating any situation.
