The White House Inn Museum is a replica of the original White House Inn. The replica was built as a part of Tennessee Homecoming ’86 which was a yearlong initiative put forth by then Governor Lamar Alexander to have the communities to come together and provide their communities with an idea to serve and archive the community. The building was originally built to serve as the first city library and archives. With the growth of the city, a newly built library was opened in 2015 and the replica was remodeled and houses the City’s Museum, Visitor’s Center and Chamber of Commerce.
